Barratt is celebrating early success at its sought-after Whitecastle development in Abergavenny. And the five star housebuilder is attributing the development’s overwhelming popularity to a winning combination of stylish homes and an idyllic setting – offering views over the River Usk.

“This development really does have it all,” said Barratt sales director, Adrian Bird. “The beautiful homes here are situated in the most beautiful setting with much of the area offering magnificent scenery.

“With the Brecon Beacons National Park close by – offering excellent walkways and cycling routes, it is no surprise that buyers are so keen to move here.”

Since its recent launch, Whitecastle has been attracting local buyers – and those from further afield looking to move to the beautiful region.

And, with an outstanding selection of three, four and five bedroom homes on offer, the development is expected to remain in high demand over the coming months.

Homes currently available at Whitecastle include the three bedroom Palmerston house, priced from £174,995; the Enbourne, from £208,000, also with three bedrooms; the Endale, from £209,000, offering three bedrooms; and the three storey, three bedroom, Queensville house, from £227,500.

“This is a thriving community in a spectacular location. And these new homes are designed to reflect the extreme beauty of the area – the gateway to Wales,” said Adrian.

“With its convenient position – offering excellent commuting links to Cardiff, Bristol and Birmingham – we are expecting the popularity of Whitecastle to increase further over the coming months.”

Whitecastle is set within breathtaking surroundings with views of sugarloaf mountain, less than a mile from the centre of Abergavenny and offers a choice of local amenities and commuter links.
