Lex Autolease and Black Horse offered 366 convertibles sports and prestige cars at BCA Belle Vue on Saturday 9th April, and over 92% of the entry sold, some 335 vehicles generating a turnover of £3.9 million pounds.

The ‘Super Saturday’ event the second in the programme was held on a glorious sunny day in Manchester and attracted over 259 buyers to the sale, with a further 370 dealers on the internet using BCA’s Live Online system. In total 124 vehicles or 37% of the sale was sold over the internet.

With a broad selection of stock ranging in value from under £4,000 to over £70,000, bidding was brisk from the first car – sold at 10.30 am - through to the last sold at 3.00 pm.   Private buyers and dealers bid strongly throughout the sale, which achieved 98% of CAP Clean across the board.

Dale Evans, Lex Autolease Area Auction Manager North, commented, “We have worked really closely with the BCA Belle Vue team and attention to detail has been the keyword for this event, the preparation and presentation of the sale was first class, and as this was our 3rd convertible sale within 2 weeks, we are absolutely delighted with the very strong conversion and CAP achievement”.

Alan Gupwell Account Manager BCA added “This was our first convertible sale at our Belle Vue auction centre for our business partners Lex Autolease and Black Horse and the whole team at the centre really did everything they could to make the event a resounding success, the extra attention to detail ensured that the sale was not only succeeded, but was also enjoyable for customers and staff alike”.
