Find an affordable property in Kent with Orbit Homes
Leading Housing Provider, Orbit Homes, will be holding a Shared Ownership open evening on Thursday 21st April between 3pm and 7pm for all those who would like to attend.
Would-be buyers are invited to come along to Orbit Homes’ Heronsbrook development in Minster to look at the beautiful new homes on offer and to find out how the shared ownership scheme provides an affordable way into home ownership.
Shared Ownership (also known as part buy/part rent) helps people who are unable to get a foot on the property ladder by enabling them to buy a share in a new home and pay rent on the remainder. Apartments at Heronsbrook start at just £36,000 for a 30% share and Orbit Homes estimate that a minimum income in the region of £17,900 would be needed to afford one. Over time purchasers can buy extra shares in their home if the want to, until they own the whole property outright.
A number of the homes at Heronsbrook have already been sold and just four, two bed apartments now remain available. All apartments come complete with a fitted kitchen including oven and hob, allocated parking, and full gas central heating.
Minster is an attractive village with a lively atmosphere and a range of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Heronsbrook is set in an excellent location off Monkton Road and is within easy access of local amenities and great transport links providing access to beautiful coastlines as well as London City.
Sales & Marketing Manager Diane Webster says ‘Minster is a beautiful village and homes in areas such as this are often out of reach of first time buyers and as such, we expect the remaining homes at Heronsbrook to be snapped up soon.’
‘We would advise anyone who may be interested to come along to the open evening and speak to one of our helpful members of staff who can tell you all about shared ownership.’
