If you want to move to a bigger, better, brand new home without the hassle of finding a buyer for your existing property then Redrow may be able to help.

The award-winning housebuilder is offering Wrexham homebuyers the chance to trade in their old home as part-payment for a brand new one at Ty Newydd.

Featuring a choice of three and four-bedroom homes from the New Heritage Collection, Ty Newydd is the ideal choice for those who are ready to move up the property ladder, as Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW) explains.

“At Redrow we take pride in building quality family homes that people really want to live in. We’re also committed to high levels of customer service and aim to make moving home as simple and straight forward as possible. We understand that some people are reluctant to make a commitment to buying a new home when they have an existing property to sell. That’s where part-exchange can really help them as it’s designed to let customers move up the property ladder using their old home to part fund the move,” Elaine said.

Under part-exchange Redrow effectively acts as a cash buyer for the customer’s property.

“Part-exchange means our clients can look forward to moving day as they’ll be offered a fair price for their old home within seven days, they won’t have to worry about being caught up in a complicated chain and there are no estate agent’s fees for them to pay. It’s the smart way to move up the property ladder,” Elaine added.

Buyers may be able to trade in their old home towards the cost of selected three-bedroom properties, including the ‘Ludlow’, on the market at £194,995 or for those who want somewhere larger there’s also a choice of four-bedroom designs, with prices from £237,995.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, the homes look traditional from the outside, enabling buyers to enjoy the charm and character of a ‘period’ property; while inside they are bright, modern and full of family friendly features.

Kitchens are both practical and stylish with the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances, plus soft closing floor to ceiling units and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage. Bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings, with an exclusive tile range.

“It would cost around £30,000 to bring an older, three-bedroom property up to the same high standard of one our new homes at Ty Newydd. The cost of installing one of our fabulous kitchens including the same high quality fixtures, fittings and appliances in an older property would be around £6,000, plus you would have the inconvenience of not being able to use your kitchen while the work is carried out,” Elaine commented.

Visit Ty Newydd, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm to view the show homes and find out how part-exchange could help you make your next move.
