Five-star twin-centre city break to Warsaw and Krakow

16th May 2011 Print

City break specialist, Cities Direct is highlighting a luxury twin-centre city break which combines the two Polish cities of Warsaw and Krakow – whose historic centres are both included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

With departures available until March 2012, this six-night break – featuring three nights in each city – costs from £699 per person, based on two sharing and inclusive of return flights from East Midlands, Edinburgh, Liverpool or Stansted to Lodz (for Warsaw), returning from Krakow and first class rail travel from Warsaw to Krakow.

Also included are private transfers between the airport, stations and hotel in each city and six nights’ accommodation with breakfast in central five-star hotels.  Extra nights are available in both cities (supplement usually payable).

Both cities are filled with history and feature fascinating sights - following major destruction in World War II, Warsaw’s Old Town has been carefully restored to reflect its former glory, whilst Krakow is one of the oldest and prettiest cities in Poland and boasts one of the best-preserved medieval city centres in Europe.
