Home ownership made easy in Wrexham

Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ scheme is available on selected ‘Kenilworth’ style homes at Ty Newydd in Wrexham.

Home buyers can put off paying thousands of pounds on selected properties at Ty Newydd in Wrexham with help from Redrow’s ‘easi:buy’ scheme. It also reduces the amount of deposit they’ll need.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), commented: “Research by the property website Rightmove* shows that while the number of people hoping to buy their first home has increased, their biggest concern is raising a deposit. It can be difficult to save up a large sum, especially if you’re paying rent, but having around £8,000 to put down could be enough to secure a three-bedroom home at Ty-Newydd for those using ‘easi:buy’.”

With ‘easi:buy’ customers defer paying up to 15% of the initial purchase price for up to 10 years or until they have more funds available.

It means they will only need a mortgage for a maximum of 85% of the property’s value and should have access to some of the better mortgage interest rates; usually reserved for those with large deposits or substantial equity in an existing home.

Three-bedroom ‘Kenilworth’ style homes are available through easi:buy for just £148,746, instead of the usual open market price of £174,995.

“Buying a home can seem daunting, particularly if it’s your first, but our friendly experienced sales team are here to help. They will guide customers through the home buying process, making it as simple and straight forward as possible. We take pride in delivering high levels of customer service so that our clients can enjoy their new home,” Elaine added.

The ‘Kenilworth’ offers a stylish solution to modern living, utilising ‘rooms in the roof’ to maximise the potential of the space available.

On the ground floor there’s a lounge spanning the width of the property, plus a combined kitchen and dining room. On the first floor you’ll find two bedrooms, the family bathroom and a study; while up on the top floor is the master bedroom complete with en-suite.

“Selected ‘Kenilworth’ style properties are now ready to move into, making them ideal for those who want a quick move. Others are still under construction, which means purchasers will have a great input into how their home looks with the opportunity to choose the finish of the kitchen units, the bathroom tiles and even the light switches,” Elaine explained.

Close to Wrexham town centre and the glorious North Wales countryside, residents of Ty Newydd can choose their pace of life. And with easy access to the cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester it’s a great base for commuters.

For more information and to see the show home for yourself, visit the development in Mold Road, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
