TalkTalk reduces prices and offers more, for less

TalkTalk, the phone and broadband provider, is backing up its promise to always deliver better value to its customers, by reducing pricing and enriching its most popular packages.

The cost of TalkTalk Essentials has been cut from £6.99 to £6.50, while TalkTalk Plus has dropped from £14.99 to £14.50.

The reductions come hot on the heels of other changes to TalkTalk’s phone and broadband offerings, which include:

increasing its bundle of inclusive minutes for calls from landline phones to mobiles from 200 minutes for £4.99 to 500 minutes for £5, making TalkTalk the best value for home phone to mobile calls (compared to BT, BT Plusnet, Virgin and Sky);

scrapping the home mover fee, making it free to move homes with TalkTalk (BT’s Plusnet charges up to £65 for moving home);

reducing the cost of installing a new line to £50 (from £79.99).

Last week, TalkTalk also launched HomeSafe, the first network level internet security system from a UK ISP, which is available free of charge to TalkTalk customers to help keep them and their family safer online.
 
TalkTalk’s Essentials and Plus packages both come with a number of features superior to equivalent packages from BT Plusnet. Compared to BT Plusnet, TalkTalk offer greater download capacity, free router shipping and other additional features (such as speed dial, frequent number discounts and inclusive calls to millions of numbers) at no extra cost.
 
TalkTalk also offers a range of great value Boosts – including its new 500 Mobile Minutes Boost which costs just £5 for 500 anytime minutes to call UK mobiles – so that customers can tailor their packages, depending on their needs.
