Mango Tree restaurant hosts summer Salad Festival

Salad days are set to return this summer as fine-dining Thai restaurant Mango Tree is celebrating the best in healthy Thai cuisine with a flavoursome five-week Salad Festival running up until Sunday 26th June 2011.

Head chef, Ian Pengelley has devised a mouth-watering menu using the freshest ingredients that combines subtle spices to create a healthy yet exotic treat.

The Salad Festival will offer diners a selection of innovative dishes including Yum Pak Boong Tord Krob, a water spinach tempura mixed with minced prawns and served with spicy lime sauce; and Yum Pla Meuk Yang, a grilled squid salad served with spicy lime sauce. 

For vegetarians there is the option of Salad Keak, a mixed vegetable and fried tofu salad with boiled egg, served with a peanut dressing.  Also available on the menu is Yum Guay Tiew Siang-hai, Siang-hai noodles salad served with roast pork.
