The Little Greek Pie Company opens for breakfast

The Little Greek Pie Company, bringing authentic Greek pies to London, which opened its doors on Cleveland Street last month, is now open for breakfast and serving a filling an nutritious ‘breakfast pie,’ as well as tea and coffee to eat in or take away.
Opening times have also changed to 8am – 4pm Monday – Friday (closed at the weekend) to allow for breakfast. The ‘English Breakfast Pie,’ which includes eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs, is made using his signature spelt flour and priced at £2. The breakfast menu also includes Greek yoghurt and honey with a selection of fresh fruit and nuts, as well as cinnamon and spelt biscuits.
The Little Greek Pie Company is the brainchild of Angelo Kleftakis, who developed the idea whilst on holiday in the Epirus region of Northern Greece, where he grew up and where they’re a speciality. The pies are nutritious and healthy, made from his mother’s recipe, using only the freshest ingredients and baked to perfection to achieve the light, crispy exterior. Fillings change daily and popular choices include wild rice, spinach and feta, or salmon, spinach and ricotta.
Customers can opt to enjoy a freshly made salad with their slice of pie (still spending under £5) making a perfect lunch option. The shop also serves Greek products including Olive oil, halva and honey.
Pie and coffee cards have also been introduced – once customers have bought six pie slices/coffees, they’ll get the seventh for free. These are available now.
