Homebuyers in Maidstone looking for an affordable move to a spacious new home could be helped on their way by Redrow.

The award-winning housebuilder has a contemporary three-storey townhouse for sale at Sutton Woods, which is now ready to move into with carpets included. As an added incentive, Redrow will pay the purchaser’s stamp duty – a ‘gift’ potentially worth almost £8,700.*

The ‘Smarden’ is an elegant home with an abundance of space. On the ground floor there is a convivial open-plan kitchen and dining room, with French doors leading to the rear garden. There’s a separate lounge, utility room and downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, with bedroom two having the luxury of a balcony, a study and a family bathroom. Nestled on the top floor is a large master bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

Beryl Williams, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “This is a fabulous family home with so much space and a high specification, including a kitchen fitted with stylish floor to ceiling units and top brand name appliances. The home is even more attractive thanks to our offer to pay your stamp duty, which is a huge saving for potential purchasers.

“Our three-storey townhouses at Sutton Woods have proved to be popular with families looking for a spacious home, within an hour’s commute of London, but without the capital’s price tags.”

With the potential for further cost-saving on fuel bills, the homes benefit from the energy saving properties of solar power renewable energy systems, low-use water management systems, low energy use light fittings and waste segregation bins to encourage recycling.

Built on the site of the former Senacre College, off Sutton Road, Sutton Woods is a stylish venture incorporating some stunning mature trees and areas of open space, while being just a short walk from the picturesque Mote Park and conveniently close to Maidstone town centre.

As Kent’s county town, Maidstone has a wide variety shops, schools, sports and leisure centres, bars and restaurants, whilst Maidstone East station offers journey times to London Victoria or Charing Cross of around an hour.

The Smarden is available priced at £289,950. *Redrow’s offer to pay stamp duty is not available in conjunction with any other incentives.

Other two and three-bedroom homes are priced between £164,500 and £232,950.

To find out more about the homes available and help on offer, visit Sutton Woods, where the show home is open daily 10am to 5.30pm.
