Very special guest Diddy Dirty Money for Orange RockCorps 2011

Orange RockCorps has announced Diddy Dirty Money will play at the Wembley Arena concert on 12 July, joining Primal Scream and Eliza Doolittle.

Having more than quadrupled its volunteer base in less than three years, Orange RockCorps is back for 2011 to treat 11,000 more volunteers to a phenomenal one-off live concert featuring an incredible line-up, in exchange for donating just four hours of their time to charity work.

Fronted by Sean “Puffy” Combs, Diddy Dirty Money will jet into London to perform in what will be Orange RockCorps biggest concert to date. Diddy Dirty Money join headliners Primal Scream, fresh from their Screamadelica European tour and playing some of their biggest hits, as well as Eliza Doolittle, with many more artists to be announced soon.

On being part of this year’s Orange RockCorps, Diddy Dirty Money commented: “We are happy to support Orange RockCorps. Rewarding people for their hard work in the community is a great chance to connect with great people, doing great things to enrich the lives of others. DDM is really looking forward to the Wembley show”

Head of Sponsorship for Orange, Andy Pearcey added: “Orange RockCorps is a fantastic initiative and one that we’re thrilled to be a part of. The 2011 lineup is shaping up incredibly, not only do we have Primal Scream and Eliza Doolittle, but now the addition of Diddy Dirty Money - it’s going to be a very memorable event.”

Stephen Greene, CEO and co-founder of RockCorps, commented: “This year’s Orange RockCorps lineup was already huge, but to add Diddy Dirty Money makes this our biggest show yet.  I mean, Diddy is Music – and this is now an unmissable event. We’re thrilled for all of our volunteers’ hard work to be honored with artists of this stature.”

This year’s programme continues with a series of four-hour projects set throughout Greater London. As part of the regeneration plans to showcase London on the world stage, 150 volunteer projects spanning 32 London boroughs will be launched, with volunteers earning their tickets to the concert at Wembley Arena.

Channel 4 will broadcast coverage from the Wembley show on Sunday 24 July. They will also be filming volunteer projects to be shown within T4 on Sunday 26 June and Sunday 3 July.
