Scouts clean up at Leybourne Chase event
Taylor Wimpey helped youngsters raise £120 with a charity car wash held at the leading housebuilder’s Leybourne Chase development of new homes in West Malling, Kent.
Youngsters from the 1st Ditton Scout Group enjoyed a successful day of fundraising on Saturday [30th July] when they cleaned dozens of home-hunters’ cars at Taylor Wimpey’s Leybourne Chase development of new homes for sale in West Malling, Kent.
Armed with buckets and sponges, the Scouts stationed themselves outside the Sales Information Centre at the development of new build homes in West Malling for the day, cleaning an impressive 24 vehicles in four hours.
The leading housebuilder pledged to make a donation for every car they washed, allowing the Scouts to offer their services for free. After a hugely successful day at the development of apartments and houses for sale in West Malling, Taylor Wimpey handed over a cheque for £120 as a reward for their efforts.
