Thai Street Food Festival at Mango Tree

Fine-dining restaurant Mango Tree is celebrating the very best of Thai cuisine with a five-week Thai Street Food Festival from 5th September to 9th October. The restaurant has devised a mouth-watering menu using the freshest ingredients and spices to create authentic Thai street food that is guaranteed to transport diners’ taste buds to the Far East.

The Thai Street Food Festival will offer diners a selection of tasty starters including Kai Nok-krata Tord, deep fried quail eggs wrapped in golden wanton skin served with home made sweet chilli sauce. As well as Look-chin Moo Ping, grilled homemade pork balls served with spicy tamarind sauce and Pla-muek Yang, grilled marinated squid in Thai style served with spicy lime sauce.

Guests can choose from delicious mains with Pad Khee-mao Nuer, stir fried thick noodles with beef, bamboo shoots and Thai sweet basil in spicy sauce, Kuay-tiew Kuae Thale, stir fried thick noodles with mixed seafood in soya sauce and egg and Pla Bo-ran, deep fried crispy seabass filets served with mango salad.

Vegetarians need not be left out, with dishes such as Tow-hoo Tord, crispy tofu served with sweet chilli sauce topped with peanut and Pad Ba-mee Jay, stir fried thin noodles with mixed vegetables in black soya sauce.
