Craig David talks about the Michael Forever Tribute Concert

Craig David and a whole host of other stars are lined up to play at the Michael Forever Tribute Concert this autumn.

The concert will see artists showcase unforgettable performances from Michael’s superb catalogue of hits, stretching from his Jackson 5 days through to his solo career.

The full on-stage lineup for the concert is continuing to expand and already includes Ne- Yo, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, The Jackson Brothers, 3T, Leona Lewis, JLS, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke, Alien Ant Farm, Craig David and Diversity.

American actor, musician and comedian Jamie Foxx has recently been announced as the host of the event.
 
Several more substantial announcements are expected in the coming weeks confirming other major artists.

These international stars will be paying tribute to the King of Pop at a once in a lifetime event, to be held on October 8th at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

In the presence of members of the Jackson family, including Michael’s mother and children, his fans and the world will rejoice in a celebration of the genius of Michael’s music. Tito Jackson’s sons, international platinum selling recording artist 3T, will perform on the night, as will a number of Michael’s siblings, in various combinations.

US Director of Global Live Events, Paul Ring said: “This is just the beginning.  As the reality gains ground of just how a unique and amazing event this is, many more performers will join us on the stage in Cardiff on October 8th. This concert will span generations and musical genres, reminding everyone of just how amazing was Michael’s talent.”

The concert will be broadcast around the world in both 2D and 3D. Charities that will benefit from the proceeds include The Aids Project LA and The Prince’s Trust.
