Ski Verbier launches new luxury ski company

27th September 2011 Print

One of the UK’s leading luxury ski holiday companies, Ski Verbier, which offers Europe’s most sought after, 5* ski chalets costing from £860 to £4,000 per person per week, has expanded from its heartland of Verbier with the launch of ‘Ski Chamonix’, and is now offering fully catered accommodation in two of Chamonix’s most luxurious properties, Chalet Cragganmore (sleeps 12) and Chalet Bowmore (sleeps 8).

The two new catered chalets are in the village of Les-Praz-de-Chamonix in the middle of the Chamonix ski region, the starting point for the cable car up to La Flégère, and surrounded by the Aiguilles Rouges and Aiguille du Dru mountains and to the south, Mont Blanc.

Chalet Cragganmore is an outstanding chalet featuring exceptional and stylish décor and vast glass facades that optimise the incredible surrounding scenery and mountain views. The traditional style, pine clad chalet has an outdoor hot-tub, gym, sauna, massage room, climbing wall, cinema and games room while the focal point of the living area is a pyramid shaped suspended fireplace. A private chef service, driving service and two chalet hostesses provide full catering and concierge services. A week’s stay at Chalet Cragganmore costs from £13,950 to £32,950 for up to twelve guests sharing.

Chalet Bowmore is a character and luxurious converted farmhouse with outstanding views in all directions. The chalet seamlessly blends rustic farmhouse features with contemporary design and is currently being constructed for the 2011-12 season with three bedrooms, including a master suite on the top floor and a children’s quad room below. The focus of the chalet is on comfortable and rustic living areas and facilities that include a hot tub set beneath the infamous Aiguille du Dru  mountain. A week’s stay at Chalet Bowmore costs from £6,950 - £16,450, for up to six adults, or four adults and four children.

Ski Chamonix’s guests will be cared for to the utmost levels of luxury and comfort, standards that have been synonymous with the Ski Verbier name for over twenty years. A fully qualified private chef in each chalet prepares a cooked breakfast each morning, with fresh coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, afternoon tea with a home-baked cake and canapés with drinks before dinner, which is a four course gourmet meal accompanied by fine French wines. A chauffeur driving services takes guests to the skiing areas and to Chamonix town centre on request, from 8am until 2am.
