Award winning Housebuilder Asprey Homes highlights: Proximity to one of the country's leading schools has continued to add value to family houses in key commuter areas of the South-East. According to leading estate agents, parents moving out of London will pay a substantial premium to secure the right house within 20 minutes of their chosen school with key areas of Kent proving popular, particularly Tonbridge.

A wide choice of excellent schools, both fee-paying and non-fee-paying, makes Kent a magnet for families with young children looking for nursery and pre-prep schools, as well as those with children who are heading towards GCSEs and A-levels. Tonbridge Grammar School, a league-topping girls’ school with boys in the 6th form is a popular choice alongside high flying boys’ state grammar The Judd School, which also offers spaces to girls in the 6th form. For boarders, Tonbridge School is a top-class-all-round boys’ school, highly respected internationally.

Helen Jackson Sales and Marketing Manager comments: “We have been building high end family homes in Kent since 1995 and have noticed more recently the rising number of families leaving London to take advantage of the good schools in Kent.”

“Tonbridge is no exception, we have already had interest from London families in our forthcoming development Maple Wood Grange which is due to launch later in the year. Early interest in the properties has been high and we would therefore advise purchasers to register with us soon in order to avoid disappointment.”

Synonymous with all Asprey Homes developments, Maple Wood Grange offers exceptional homes for family living. Here, just six 4 and 5 bedroom detached homes will be available, set in a desirable residential area just north of the town centre, due for completion from early 2012.

These are traditional homes of substantial proportions, most with a double garage. The interior specification will satisfy the most refined tastes and includes a fitted kitchen by Paula Rosa with integrated appliances, pristine Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware in the Bathroom and En Suite(s), feature fireplace and oak veneered internal doors. The superb specification and meticulous attention to detail that are the hallmarks of an Asprey home ensure an outstanding interior finish.

The Kentish Weald countryside, an ancient and quintessentially English landscape, abounds with beautiful places. Its historic treasures include Knole, Groombridge Place and Ightham Mote, as well as countless charming villages and natural attractions. All can be explored easily from Maple Wood Grange.

More cosmopolitan pleasures can be experienced in the nearby towns. Royal Tunbridge Wells is famous for its Georgian buildings, The Pantiles, and its elegant shops, bars and restaurants. Sevenoaks also offers good shopping along with an eclectic range of restaurants.

Maple Wood Grange has excellent access to Tonbridge station and major road connections. The rail journey to London is approximately 45 minutes and the motorway network can be accessed within 9 miles at junction 5 of the M25.

Prices start from £630,000 for a four bedroom detached house. Plans are available to view by appointment. For further information or to register your early interest, visit aspreyhomes.co.uk.
