British favourites are top choice at The Bear’s Paw

Proving that British really is best, The Bear’s Paw, an AA award-winning character inn situated in the picturesque village of Warmingham, has revealed that British dishes are top choice amongst its diners.
The most popular dish this summer was the outstanding Steak and Weetwood ale pie, followed by the hearty Bear’s Paw Steak burger; whilst Fresh North Sea Haddock Fish and hand cut chips, a dish which consistently appears on national polls of our favourite all time food and many consider a national dish of Britain, came a close third. Not only do British favourites top the list of main meals, mouth-watering Eton Mess was by far the most favoured pudding, whilst the delicious hot topside of beef sandwich was the top sandwich choice for diners.
Owned and operated by Nelson Hotels and ideally located between the major market towns of Sandbach, Middlewich and Crewe, the charming, five-star, award-winning 19th Century country inn attracts a discerning clientele to enjoy the broad array of dishes from Britain and abroad. The Bear’s Paw menu is adapted to take advantage of the finest seasonal produce; all meals are lovingly prepared to order using the finest local ingredients, and are perfectly complemented by an extensive list of carefully chosen wines from around the world, and a choice of six real ales taking centre stage on the bar.
Few can resist the combination of mouth-watering food and drink, and charming environment to be found at the Bear’s Paw. The stylish interior pays tribute to bygone times with open fires, traditional antique reclaimed oak flooring and over 200 pictures adorning the walls, creating a beautiful environment in which to relax and indulge.
Nelson Hotels sales and marketing director Lucy Nelson says: “The Bear’s Paw is a true British gastro pub, set in a beautiful lovingly restored 19th Century country inn serving a broad range of real British ales. We work hard to buy British and support local producers so it’s great to know that the British meals we serve are so popular.”
