New Redrow homes in Northop boast a quality that should be admired, according to the Chair of Flintshire County Council.

Councillor Hilary McGuill cut the ribbon to officially open the ‘Salisbury’ show home at Northop Park at a special event attended by estate agents, solicitors and other property professionals.

Speaking at the launch, Cllr McGuill said: “Redrow is a locally based company with its head office at St David’s Park in Ewloe. Now that they are building here at Northop they’re adding further to the local economy by providing jobs and housing.

“They couldn’t have chosen a better place to build as the traditional style of the homes blends in nicely with the existing properties in the area and they already look like they have been here for a long time. The homes are very aesthetically pleasing and look very welcoming from the outside. The quality is certainly something to be admired.”

Located in Connah’s Quay Road, Northop Park is an intimate development of just 36 homes from Redrow’s popular New Heritage Collection.

Behind their Arts and Crafts inspired exteriors, the homes boast modern interiors designed to meet the demands of 21st century family living. Kitchens are well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances, while bathrooms and en-suite enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.

At the launch chef Rupert Frazer Wordern, who is based at nearby Tattenhall, Chester, cooked up a storm in the show home kitchen, as guests were entertained by a string quartet from Chester Philharmonic Orchestra.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We were delighted that Cllr McGuill was able to join us as we celebrated the official launch of our New Heritage Collection on our ‘home turf’ in Flintshire.

“The show home has been well received by all who have visited the development and I’d like to thank the Redrow team and our sub-contractors, who have worked very hard to ensure it was completed to our exacting high standards. It’s testament to their commitment to quality that we sold the first home at Northop Park soon after launching the development.”

Halfway between the towns of Mold and Flint, with easy access to the city of Chester, Northop offers rural village living at its very best with two pubs, a post office, cricket club and championship golf course close by.

Current availability at Northop Park includes a choice of four-bedroom homes, priced from £306,995.
