Commuters who purchase a home at The Grange in Maidstone are being offered a free two-year rail season ticket to London worth nearly £9,000.

Redrow has spacious homes available, which are within easy reach of London but come without the capital’s price tags.

Lesley Stringer, sales director for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “Families who don’t want to compromise on space and quality can get more for their money at the Grange and they can still be in central London in as little as 47 minutes using the new high speed rail service from Maidstone West train station.

“To help them take advantage of this fact, for a limited period we are giving away a free rail season ticket, currently retailing at £8,848, for any purchaser who commutes regularly into the capital. It means residents can enjoy unlimited rail travel to and from London, including on the new high speed service that now operates from Maidstone West Station.”

With the average four-bedroom home in London now costing more than £960,000 many buyers have found themselves priced out of the market. Compare and contrast this to Maidstone, where Redrow is offering four-bedroom detached family homes from as little as £262,950. Even someone considering the more affordable London borough of Bromley, where an average four-bedroom property is on the market for nearly £567,000, could still save more than £300,000 if they moved to The Grange in Maidstone.

Lesley added: “It’s not just the cost of buying a home that will attract people to The Grange; it’s the quality of life that is potentially on offer, with more money available to spend on other things instead of a hefty mortgage.

“We take a pride in the quality craftsmanship which underpins our New Heritage Collection homes and convivial open-plan living spaces and good sized gardens make them perfect for family life.”

Buyers can view two fully furnished show homes to see everything the New Heritage Collection has to offer, from their traditional Arts and Crafts influenced exteriors, to the well-planned layouts, bright modern interiors and contemporary fixtures and fittings.

It’s also possible for purchasers with a property to sell to ‘trade up’ to a new Redrow home using part exchange.

Available on selected properties, part exchange means Redrow will effectively act as cash buyer for your existing home, in many cases making an offer on your house within just 48 hours. You won’t have to worry about estate agent’s fees or getting stuck in a complicated housing chain.

In addition, buying a brand new home could actually save you more time and money in the long run as it won’t need expensive repairs and renovations. All Redrow homes feature contemporary kitchens with top name appliances, plus modern bathrooms and en-suites with sleek white suites and quality fixtures and fittings.

Lesley added: “Our homes are well-insulated, with central heating and double glazing as standard, they’re also potentially cheaper to run than their older, second hand counterparts. Plus our customers can also enjoy peace of mind, knowing that their investment is covered by a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ guarantee.”

Built on the former site of Senacre College, current availability at The Grange includes three and four-bedroom homes from £241,950.

The Grange will incorporate some stunning mature trees and areas of open space, while being just a short walk from the picturesque Mote Park and conveniently close to Maidstone town centre.

As Kent’s county town, Maidstone has a wide variety of shops, schools, sports and leisure centres, bars and restaurants. A new high speed rail service from Maidstone West station takes just 47 minutes to reach London St Pancras, currently running during peak times on weekdays; while Maidstone East station offers journey times to London Victoria or Charing Cross of around an hour.
