Celebrate Christmas with Malaysian restaurant Awana

Fine-dining Malaysian restaurant Awana is offering a tempting new menu to kick off the festive season. Sure to be popular for Christmas parties, the delicious menu offers three courses for only £38 per person.

Diners can begin their festive meal with Kerabu Itik, grilled duck salad, Bakar Ayam Cincang, minced chicken wrapped in banana leaf, Satay Kambing, lamb satay served with spice peanut sauce and Sotong Garam Lada Hitam, salt and pepper squid. For vegetarians there is a separate menu, with starters such as Tempura Sayuran, vegetable tempura.

After a refreshing pallet cleanser of Apple and Cinnamon Sorbet, main course dishes include Ikan Goreng, deep fried seabass in tamarind sauce, Sambal Ayam dan Kacang Panjang, stir fried long beans with minced chicken in sambal sauce and guests can enjoy a Malaysian take on traditional turkey dinner with Kari Ayam Belanda, turkey in spicy coconut curry. Along with the vegetarian menu, there is a wide range of food.

For dessert Kek Kelapa Istimewa dan Kalamansi Sorbet, exotic coconut cheesecake served with citrus sorbet, is on offer. The menu is available from 21st November to 30th December for lunch and dinner.

Famously known as London’s only fine-dining Malaysian restaurant, Awana is renowned for combining traditional Malaysian cooking techniques with a contemporary flair and they are set to demonstrate this wholly with their festive menu.
