Celebrate Christmas and New Year in style at Spice Market

Try something new this festive season - celebrate Christmas with a Southeast Asian banquet, Spice Market style. Bid farewell to 2011 and bring in the New Year with cool cocktails and delicious Spice Market specialties designed for sharing. The unique Christmas and New Year’s menus have been carefully designed for parties of all sizes to enjoy.

Alongside the existing a la Carte menu, two delicious tasting menus are available until 30th December, providing diners with exotic and tantalising cuisine this Christmas. The first menu priced at £52 per person, offers Fragrant Miso Broth with Shrimp Dumpling, Grilled Snapper with Grapefruit Vinaigrette, Tarragon and Radish, Parmesan Risotto with Wild Mushrooms and Herbs, delicious Beef Tenderloin with Gingered Shitakes, Salsify and Soy Emulsion and Roasted Mango Financier with Basil Ice Cream and Mango Sorbet.

The second, priced at £72, offers Celeriac Soup with Black Truffle, Hamachi Sashimi with Avocado, Radish and Soy Yuzu Vinaigrette, Sautéed Foie Gras with Caramelised Mango and Ginger Sauce, Crispy Lobster served with Butter Cabbage, Green Chilli, Scallion and Ginger, Caramelised Veal Filet with Salsify and Hot Mustard Sabayon and an incredibly tempting Chocolate and Vietnamese Coffee Tart with Condensed Milk Ice Cream. Both tasting menus will need to pre-ordered 48 hours in advance of the reservation.

See in the New Year with a choice of three menus. Guests can choose to dine earlier on New Year’s Eve, between 7.30pm-9.30pm and order from the 4 course prix fixe menu for just £38 per person. This menu provides diners a choice for each course, between some of Spice Market’s most popular dishes such as Spiced Chicken Samosas with Coriander Yoghurt, Red Curried Duck with Ginger Fried Rice or Crispy Brussel Sprouts and the wonderfully rich Ovaltine Kulfi with Banana Brulee and Spiced Milk Chocolate Sauce. The a la Carte menu will also be available.

The £72 tasting menu is available from 9.30pm and includes a welcome cocktail and top DJs playing throughout the evening, providing the best soundtrack in town. Guests will feast on dishes such as Lobster Summer Roll with Sriracha Emulsion, Pork Satay with Pickled Vegetables, Cod with Malaysian Chilli Sauce with Thai Basil and Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Grilled Rib Eye with Coriander Pesto, Bok Choy and Ginger Fried Rice plus many more that truly showcase Spice Market’s high quality and adventurous cuisine. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available, priced at £62 and includes Spicy Thai Slaw, Butternut Squash Soup with Ginger and Pumpkin Seeds, Fresh Mozzarella with Dried Pineapple Satay and Black Pepper Sauce and Vegetable Pad Thai to name just a few. Guests dining on the later sitting will also have the option to purchase a ticket to Wyld Bar at W London, Leicester Square to keep the party going.
