Trading up to a new home in North East Wales could be easier and more affordable than people think, says Redrow; and potential purchasers have nothing to lose by finding out how part exchange could help.

“In fact they could have everything to gain,” says sales director Anita Williams, “simply by coming down to one of our special events in Wrexham or Flintshire to discover how they could use their current property as part payment for a brand new Redrow home with all mod cons.”

Redrow is hosting part exchange events this weekend (January 14 /15) in Wrexham, at Ty Newydd and Pentre Bach, and in Flintshire, at Northop Park, in Northop, and Heathlands, in Buckley.

Friendly sales consultants, an estate agent and a mortgage advisor will be on hand at all four developments to offer free, no obligation advice on how a customer’s existing home could be used as part payment for a new home that’s built to high quality standards, features a superior specification, is easy to maintain and efficient to run.

And they could have a deal wrapped up in just a few days, compared to the nine and a half months research shows it could take them to sell their property in the area*.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), says: “New Year is traditionally a time for ringing in the changes and the decision to move home is a popular choice at this time of year. Economic uncertainty might be putting some people off at the moment but, in reality, it’s a good time to buy – properties are competitively priced, interest rates are low and mortgage availability is improving. The new Government-backed 95% mortgages are due to kick in this March and several lenders have already introduced new products or reduced the amount of deposit required.

“Our part exchange weekends will show people how they can use their existing home to part fund their new one. Effectively we’ll act as a cash buyer for their current property and will aim to make an offer within a few days.

Those eligible for part-exchange will be trading up to a bigger, better, brand new home that’s easy to maintain and efficient to run.

Homes boast bright, modern interiors with convivial open plan spaces and high quality fixtures and fittings. Kitchens are both practical and stylish and are well-equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, microwave and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

Part exchange is currently available on selected plots at all four developments.

At Ty Newydd, four-bedroom detached houses from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection are priced from £237,995 and at Pentre Bach prices start at £164,995 for a three-bedroom home. Both developments offer easy access to Wrexham town centre, Chester and the surrounding North Wales countryside.

Prices at Northop Park currently range from £295,000 to £360,000 for a four-bedroom detached family home. At Heathlands, three bedroom homes are priced from £179,950 and four-bedroom homes from £209,995.

Both developments enjoy semi-rural locations with the beautiful North Wales countryside just minutes away. The cities of Chester and Liverpool are within easy reach via the nearby A55.
