Lovell launches first show homes for brand-new Brecon development

Housing developer Lovell is unveiling two show homes at its Maes Halley, Parc Dewi Sant development at a launch event on the weekend of 18 to 19 February. The two properties, and the marketing suite, are open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
In the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this stunning development will create brand-new two-, three- and four-bedroom homes in a beautiful setting just a short walk from Brecon town centre.
Superb homes in the heart of the National Park
The new show homes, designed by interiors specialists Jane Clayton, will give house hunters the opportunity to see at first-hand the superb finishing and attention to detail which are the hallmark of these high-specification homes.
Built in local stone, the four-bedroom detached Pembroke house style features spacious kitchen / dining room and living room on the ground floor, plus hall and cloakroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite plus three additional good-sized bedrooms and the family bathroom. The Pembroke also benefits from eco-friendly solar thermal panels and a double garage.
The second show home is the Conwy, a three-bedroom house with parking. This well-designed property has ground-floor accommodation including a kitchen / dining room with French doors to the garden plus a living room, hall and cloakroom. On the first floor is the master bedroom with en-suite, two further bedrooms and the family bathroom. The kitchens of both homes are equipped with Bosch appliances.
“We’re thrilled to be launching our new show homes at this beautiful development which is attracting tremendous interest thanks to its enviable location in the national park,” says Lovell sales advisor Lorraine Battenbough. “Brecon itself is only a few minutes’ walk away, so Maes Halley really does have a huge amount to offer, with fantastic countryside all around and the attractions of this popular market town close at hand.”
An historic cathedral town, Brecon also has plenty going on culturally, including a world-famous jazz festival. A theatre, cinema and modern leisure centre are among the town’s other attractions, as well as some excellent independent shops alongside a range of popular high street stores.
Well-placed for schools
In addition, the area is well placed for schools with a choice of primary schools, a secondary school and further education college (Coleg Powys). Also nearby is the renowned Christ College independent day and boarding school.
