First time buyers who move quickly will save thousands of pounds by buying a new home with Taylor Wimpey before the Government ends the stamp duty holiday on 25th March.

The Government announced in its 2010 budget that it was removing the payment of stamp duty for two years for first time buyers on properties up to £250,000, but confirmed at the end of the last year that this would not be extended further.

Stephen Grant, regional sales manager for Taylor Wimpey North West, comments: “There is still time for first time buyers to complete the purchase of a new home before the changes come into effect and therefore save up to £2,500. That’s quite a saving at a time when every penny counts. If you are in a position to buy your first home, then speak to our experienced sales consultant at Glasdir, who can guide you through the process and ensure that everything is completed before the deadline.”

Taylor Wimpey’s Glasdir development in Ruthin hosts a beautiful selection of two, three and four bedroom homes with prices starting from £99,950 (or from as little as £84,958 using EasyStart) for the two bedroom Rhos apartment. Due to the stage of build only a limited number of homes are available for exchange and completion prior to the 25th March deadline, so house hunters are urged to visit the development sooner rather than later before they potentially miss out.

Located in Ruthin, a charming market town with a significant cultural and architectural heritage, Glasdir is surrounded by the scenic countryside of Denbighshire. The NHBC award winning development has outstanding views of the Clwydian Hills, with easy access to numerous walks and other outdoor pursuits.
