Eleventh Dakar win for BFGoodrich

Tyre brand BFGoodrich this week claimed its 11th Dakar win in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The firm's partner Volkswagen secured a hat-trick on this year's event thanks to Qatar's Nasser Al-Attiyah (1st), the 2009 winner Giniel de Villiers (2nd) and last year's victor Carlos Sainz (3rd). BFGoodrich-shod runners dominated the top 15 places overall and also took the top prize in the event's T2 and two-wheel drive classes.

MOT tests for historic cars may be scrapped
