Citroen C-ZERO confirmed for £5,000 electric vehicle grant
Citroen has welcomed the UK Government’s latest announcement concerning the £5,000 grant for customers choosing plug-in electric vehicles from 1st January, 2011. Earlier today, the grant was confirmed for nine plug-in and electric cars, including Citroen’s new all-electric C-ZERO.
Mitsubishi i-MiEV eligible for Plug-in Car Grant
Mitsubishi UK is has announced that the first fully electric vehicle to the UK market, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV has been successful for the Government’s Plug In Car Grant (PICG) of £5,000. The i-MiEV met a wide range of safety, emissions and performance standards and other criteria set by OLEV to qualify for the grant.
