The nation of shopkeepers loves its Christmas markets
Czech Travel, who specialise in city breaks to Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Bratislava and northern Slovakia, report a significant increase in the number of British guests booking Christmas Market short breaks this winter. MD Martin Harlow said “Sales are 50% up on last year, new destinations like Bratislava are particularly popular, though demand for Prague and Krakow is as strong as ever, as are two centre trips and city / spa breaks”. The company is currently offering press trips to commissioned journalists for travel to Christmas Markets in December 2006.
