Lufthansa board approves Bombardier CSeries order

The Supervisory Board of the Lufthansa Group approved the order for 30 short-haul aircraft in its meeting this week. The Bombardier CSeries aircraft will be used by Lufthansa’s subsidiary, Swiss International Air Lines, and will be ready for the fleet as of 2014. The new aircraft will replace the existing Avro RJ100 short-haul aircraft.

Ryanair launches new routes from Brussels

SWISS invests in further fleet renewal

Ryanair agrees new pay terms for pilots

Ryanair has confirmed that it has successfully concluded a round of intensive negotiations at its 31 pilot bases across Europe, under which all of Ryanair’s pilot bases discussed and voted in favour of a 12 month pay freeze with productivity increases as the preferred alternative to a 10% pay cut.
