easyJet launches new East Midlands to Nice route
easyJet has announced that it is opening a new route from East Midlands to Nice, giving the region’s travellers an even greater choice of destinations from their local airport. The three times weekly service (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) to the South of France, will commence on 2 April 2009. Fares will be at a credit crunch busting £22.99 one way.
Ryanair slashes ski travel from Birmingham
Ryanair yesterday announced that it was slashing its fares on ski routes from Birmingham as it launched 10,000 £1 seats, including taxes and charges, on ski routes to Cuneo (Alps), Perpignan, Stockholm (Skavsta) and Oslo (Torp) for travel in January, February and March.
