Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a new Clubhouse at Gatwick featuring a luxurious Cowshed Spa. The new Clubhouse has re-opened after a complete refurbishment. It’s over 795 square metres in total, with seating for 130 passengers and offers a choice of areas to cater for different needs.

EVA Air to launch new flight to Taiwan from January 2010

From 25th January 2010, EVA Air will add an extra flight per week on a Monday to its London Heathrow to Taipei via Bangkok schedule. This means that the Taiwanese independent airline will fly seven days a week. Previously, EVA Air flew once a day, six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday.

Ryanair launches £5 Christmas seat sale

Ryanair has announced that from midnight (24:00hrs) Monday 30th November it will release 250,000 Christmas seats for just £5 each for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in late December. These £5 “all in” fares will be available on over 500 of Ryanair’s European routes but must be booked on ryanair.com before midnight (24:00hrs) Thursday (3rd December).

Ryanair has announced that it will accept the MasterCard Prepaid card as its free form of payment from 1st December and its Visa Electron promotion will end one month later on 31st December.
