Ryanair announces new route from Stansted to Agadir
Ryanair has announced the launch of a brand new route from London Stansted to Agadir in Morocco. From October 28, Ryanair will offer a twice-weekly return service from London Stansted to Agadir.
Ryanair announces biggest ever ski schedule
Ryanair has announced its biggest-ever winter ski programme with the launch of its 2008/09 schedule containing 101 routes, a 40% increase in the number of routes it operated in its 2007/08 programme. Ryanair has published its inbound passenger numbers for Malta for the first six months of 2008. Ryanair grew its passenger numbers by over 100% in the first six months of 2008, when compared with the corresponding period in 2007. During 2008, Ryanair has grown its first half year figures from 47,504 (recorded in the first six months of 2007) to 95,917 inbound passengers.
Ryanair aircraft diverts to Limoges
Ryanair flight FR9336 from Bristol to Barcelona Girona diverted to Limoges Airport on 25th August (landing at 23.30 local) following an in-flight de-pressurisation incident which caused the oxygen masks to deploy. All 168 passengers disembarked safely upon landing.

Ryanair welcomes Competition Commission’s call

Skyscanner unaffected by Ryanair comparison site cancellations
Following Ryanair’s announcement that they are to start cancelling flight bookings which have been made on so called “screen scraper” sites from August 11th, Skyscanner has issued a statement to clarify that this will not affect any Ryanair flight bookings that have been found through Skyscanner.
