Domestic appliance manufacturer Hoover has introduced a smart induction hob to the market which can heat up to 12 small pans on an innovative flexi-induction area.

The HESD4 flexi-hob has a futuristic touch-control design boasting a large, cooking area. This stylish hob can be controlled as two large flexible cooking zones, accommodating the likes of a fish kettle in one zone, while using standard size pans on the second; or alternatively four smaller zones, giving complete cooking flexibility.

Maurizio Severgnini, managing director of Hoover Candy’s built-in division comments: “Our new induction hob creates a stunning centre-point for any kitchen. Unlike traditional induction hobs, you aren’t restricted to cooking within a small set area, so consumers can cook with greater flexibility”

“The design allows pans to be placed anywhere in the two large cooking zones with no restrictions and because it’s an induction hob it’s extremely safe to use as only the contents of the pan are heated and not the pan itself.”

The hob has 15 optional power levels and also offers peace of mind with heat indicator lights and a child safety lock.

Maurizio continued: “We are delighted to be offering consumers the chance to benefit from a hob which is safe, stylish and lets you cook how you want.”

The new HESD4 will be available from £699.
