Fast-growing, UK adventure tour operator, Chameleon Worldwide (part of the Families Worldwide and Walks Worldwide stable) has launched a programme in Brazil, initially comprising four recommended itineraries from 11 – 14 days in duration, and costing from £2680 pp for the 11-day ‘Rio and North East Brazil’ trip including international and domestic flights.

Comments Mark Wright, Managing Director of Chameleon Worldwide: “Brazil will get a lot of press due to the World Cup in 2014 but for those who are not bothered about the tournament we strongly recommend avoiding those particular dates when prices will rocket.

“Brazil is the fifth largest country in the World and occupies 47% of the entire land mass of South America and has endless options for the adventurous traveller; stunning waterfalls, mountains, dense jungles, wonderful wildlife, great beaches and some of the world’s most vibrant cities.”

Costa Verde, Rio and Iguaçu Falls – 13 days from £2930 pp
This itinerary is the perfect introduction to Brazil and covers many of the highlights. It includes taking a cable car ride up the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain, witnessing the famous Iguaçu Falls, a walking tour on the cobbled streets of the colonial town of Paraty, relaxing on the beaches of Ilha Grande and visits to the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema.

The holiday costs from £2930 pp (two sharing) which includes international and domestic flights, all land transportation, 10-nights’ accommodation, some meals and the services of local guides and drivers.

Natural Brazil – 14 days from £4710 pp

This itinerary includes three of Brazil’s natural highlights: the Amazon, Pantanal and the powerful Iguaçu Falls. Other highlights include visiting Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado, getting close to the Iguaçu falls via walkways on the Argentine side, and spending three nights at a lodge deep in the Amazon jungle (reached by a 30 minute boat ride) to enjoy the flora and fauna and to learn about conservation projects, and spotting wildlife on the flooded plains of the Pantanal.

The holiday costs from £4710 pp (two sharing) which includes international and domestic flights, all transportation by road and boat, 12 nights’ accommodation, some meals and the services of guides and drivers.

Chameleon Worldwide’s other two itineraries to Brazil are: Rio & North East Brazil (11 days from £2680 pp) and Pure Amazon (11 days from £3290).
