Candy ‘thinks big’ with new Maxi Plate dishwasher

Following an insightful independent consumer survey which revealed that customers are struggling to load large items into their dishwashers, leading domestic appliance manufacturer Candy is delighted to announce the launch of the innovative Maxi Plate.

Candy carried out the survey with 1000 consumers and discovered that 49 per cent of those with dishwashers struggled to load large pans and woks, while 39 per cent, found baking trays difficult to clean in the dishwasher.

Maurizio Severgnini, managing director of Candy’s Built-in Division comments: “We have responded to what our customers’ are saying by designing the Maxi Plate dishwasher in an innovative new way which maximises available space. Designed with 15 setting capacity and 3 drawers, the Candy Maxi Plate CDIM 3635 fits into a standard built in housing unit and can accommodate up to 8 large plates of 34.5cm. The Maxi Plate has been specifically designed to have even more space in the lower basket and as such can accommodate even large baking trays and oven shelves.

The extra-spacious A+ rated dishwasher can be used to wash larger items, while the top shelf also gives an extra 10% space and is perfect for cooking utensils and small cups for example.

The dishwasher can be used less frequently which saves water, energy and ultimately money for customers.
