Solaz Wines win silver at design awards D&D Wines International have announced that their Spanish supplier Bodegas Osborne has been awarded a Silver medal at this year’s Wine & Spirit design awards, for the re-designed label of their SOLAZ brand.

The Osborne group is a long standing Spanish producer of wines, sherries and spirits, which was founded in 1772. The famous Bull icon that dots the Spanish landscape is the brand symbol of Osborne SOLAZ.

The Wine & Spirit Design Awards honour the best new launches and re-designs of the past 12 months. The re-design of the SOLAZ label was a result of extensive consumer research which was carried out in the UK, USA, Canada, Germany and the Netherlands.

Medals were given to packaging which, along with being well designed, successfully communicated the brand’s message. The new, contemporary label balances modernity with tradition and heritage, and uses the famous Osborne Bull as the key visual element.

The SOLAZ wines are suitable for food and non-food occasions, combining Spanish heritage with widely appealing taste. The range consists three red blends (Tempranillo Cabernet, Shiraz Tempranillo and Merlot Tempranillo), a Rosé and a Blanco.
