Off with their heads - Champagne bar launches Bastille Day promotion

2nd July 2008 Print
Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars are suspending all sales of Grandes Marques Champagnes in July to celebrate the democratic revolution of Bastille Day. Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars will be launching a new list on July 3rd, focussing exclusively on a range of thirty Champagnes from smaller, lesser-known, producers.

Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars have been working closely with Winetrail and Lea & Sandeman to develop its list which will feature Champagnes from award-winning producers including Henri Giraud, Jacques Selosse, Jerome Prevost and Egly-Ouriet.

Henry Lane Fox, Founder, says “We are continuing to democratise the Champagne market with a great range of Champagnes at value prices that offer consistent excellence in quality and taste. We are thrilled to be featuring this very special range of boutique brands in honour of Bastille Day and hope to show our customers that exceptional Champagnes can still be an affordable everyday luxury.”

The new list will feature 7 Champagnes at under £35 and will include rare top-end Champagnes such as Georges Laval Cumieres at £70 and Henri Giraud Code Noir at £125.

In addition to its sales of specialist Champagnes, Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars will be celebrating with a range of Champagne cocktails priced from £5, at its Soho branch, on Poland St.

There are currently two Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars in Central London – one in Poland St, Soho and one in Parsons Green, Fulham.

Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars feature a wide range of Champagnes at all price points, starting with a bottle of house for £23.50 and rising to £400 for rare vintage specials.

Amuse Bouche Champagne Bars offer welcoming unpretentious venues suitable for groups of up to 300 people.
