Smeg complements ‘Classic’ oven range with CT21X Warming Drawer

Italian kitchen appliance manufacturer Smeg has developed a stylish built in warming drawer designed to complement the ovens in its popular ‘Classic’ range.

Ideal for people with busy lives and those who like to entertain at home, the CT21X warming drawer measures 20.5 cm high and is manufactured from stainless steel. It is suitable for fitting directly underneath a 38cm-reduced height Compact Oven, also from Smeg, which means both items fit in to a 60cm aperture. Alternatively, the CT21X can be used with any other full size 60cm oven in Smeg’s ‘Classic’ range, of which there are many to choose from.

The CT21X can take a maximum load weight of 20kg and features a minute minder with automatic switch off that can be set from 10 to 90 minutes. The drawer has a 400W heater offering a temperature range from 30-70ºC, and is fitted with a tangential cooling fan. An LED illuminates when warming is in progress and is visible even when the drawer is closed.

The CT21X is fitted with ‘Quadro’ gliders for smooth operation.

The warming drawer will retail for around £346.00 including VAT.
