National Love Your Bed Week 2007 National Love Your Bed Week is not about sleeping! Just the opposite in fact, that’s why it’s being held during the sunny month of August.

To celebrate National Love Your Bed Week 2007 Silentnight will be running a host of activities around the UK including:

THE FINAL OF BOOK AT BEDTIME – A national search to find the hottest young writing talent in the UK reaches its climax on 7th August 2007 with the final of the Book at Bedtime competition, held at Waterstones in central London. The winner to this prestigious competition will see their story published as well as receiving a new bed from Silentnight and a family stay at the Alton Towers hotel. Judged by award winning children’s author Jeremy Strong, Puffin, Silentnight and Waterstones.

PJOLOGY – What do you wear in bed? Pyjamas or nightie? Silk or cotton? According to scientist what you wear in bed reveals a great deal about you. Silentnight to lift the lid on bedwear with an exclusive study – introducing Pjology! Teaming up with psychologists at Manchester University we’ll uncover the science of sleepwear.(Images available on request)

OOH MATRON - Brits have become sloppy with their bed making, with over half of the UK harbouring un-made beds. Silentnight has drafted in the makeshift matrons to teach the country how to make the perfect bed during National Love Your Bed Week.
