easyJet, Europe's leading low-fares airline, will today welcome passengers on board its inaugural flight from Edinburgh to Milan. The daily flight to Milan, one of the fashion capitals of the world will now offer even more choice for our Scottish passengers.

With great low fares starting from £24.99 one way (including tax) and a return trip from £42.98 (including tax), forward sales are strong with over 30,000 passengers expected to travel this summer.

Like Edinburgh, Milan is a city full of culture and history, with some of the most magnificent architecture Europe has to offer. From the Duomo to the Sforzesco Castle, Milan is a city with style and fashion and its temperate climate makes for an enjoyable day of shopping or exploring.

Katie Stitson, easyJet’s Scottish Market Manager, said:

“This new route is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to experience one of Europe’s most celebrated and prestigious cities. We opened our base in Milan just over a year ago now, and we are delighted to be linking Italy to Scotland for the first time today.”
