easyJet announces new Gatwick to Thessaloniki route

easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, today announced it will introduce a new route from London Gatwick to the Greek city of Thessaloniki this spring. The new three times weekly service will commence on 30 January 2008. Seats are available now for travel until the end of the winter schedule, 28 March 2008.

The summer schedule, for travel beyond March, will be available within the next few weeks. Fares are available from just £27.99 one way including tax.

David Osborne, easyJet UK General Manager, commented:

“Thessaloniki is the second Greek destination easyJet will offer from the UK and we expect to carry over 41,000 passengers on the route this summer. The addition of this new service takes the total number of routes available from our largest base at Gatwick to 44, reinforcing our position as Gatwick’s favourite European airline.”
