Following on from the new route from Jersey to Luton on the 20 March 2008, easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, today launched another new service from Jersey to Liverpool.

The new daily service will provide the island’s travellers with access to the European city of culture, home of the Beatles legacy and gateway to the North West of England.

The new route to Liverpool is available from £21.99 one way including taxes. The airline expects to carry 100,000 passengers on the new route in the next 12 months.

Carly Brear, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager, said:

“This is an exciting development for easyJet, not only are we launching services for the second time this month from the Island of Jersey, we are also opening up the market with two new currently un-served routes to Luton and Liverpool."
