easyJet launches winter 2008/9 schedule

7th July 2008 Print
easyJet has today launched its winter 2008/9 schedule for flights from Bristol, East Midlands, Manchester and Newcastle. Flights from 2 November 2008 to 28 March 2009 are on sale now with fares from £21.99 one way.

Geneva and Grenoble were the top winter ski destinations in 2007, but the addition of services to Innsbruck and Sofia, earlier this year, are expected to open up new markets for independent winter sports enthusiasts this coming season. Whilst celebrity spotting on the slopes of World famous resorts such as Val d’Isère remains ever popular, there are many smaller, more intimate resorts such as Bansko, in Bulgaria and Oberaudorf, in Austria that offer an alternative, lower cost and more relaxed ski holiday option.

The airline is releasing its winter schedule base by base. Flights from: Basel, Belfast, Berlin, Edinburgh, London Gatwick, Geneva, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Luton, Lyon, Madrid, Milan Malpensa, Paris Orly, Paris Charles De Gaulle and London Stansted, will be available within the next few weeks.

To pick up easyJet's famously low fares, book as far in advance as possible. Seats are on sale now.
