21st April 2009 Print
easyJet has announced plans to bring forward its expansion at Manchester Airport, which will see the start date to its four new routes to Corfu, Athens, Bastia and Dalaman brought forward from August to 21 May 2009.

The expansion will see an additional aircraft based at Manchester and increased frequencies to summer hotspot destinations of Alicante, Malaga, Malta, Paphos and Tenerife.

Carly Brear, easyJet UK Commercial Manager, said:

“This is great news for the North West, not only does our additional aircraft mean more jobs and more visitors to the region but, it means that customers in the North West can now take advantage of even more of easyJet’s famously low fares to the summer hotspots across Europe, with the care and convenience when flying from their local airport.”

Fares for the new routes will start from just £22.99 single including tax.
