24th March 2010 Print

easyJet has announced plans to add Kosovo and the Isle of Man to its network this spring, with services between Liverpool and Isle of Man as well as services from Geneva and Basel to the Kosovan Capital, Pristina.

In addition the airline will also introduce a new route connecting Geneva with Tel Aviv, a destination easyJet recently began serving from London Luton, which is proving to be a great success.

Flights from Liverpool to the Isle of Man will begin 21st May with one way fares starting at £22.99.

Flights from Geneva to Pristina are scheduled to start 19th June, with one way fares priced from CHF 39.95.

Basel to Pristina flights will begin 26th June, priced at CHF 39.95 for a one way fare.

Geneva to Tel Aviv flights will commence 30th August, flying on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, with one way fares starting from CHF 51.95.

The addition of these four new routes will take the total number of new easyJet routes to be added to the airline’s network in 2010 to 74.

Andy Harrison, easyJet’s chief executive, said:

“easyJet has become Europe’s Number 1 air transport network by providing the lowest fares to the most convenient airports. As a result 300 million passengers now live within an hour of an easyJet Airport.

“We are the only truly European airline and thanks to our growth in Kosovo, Israel and the Isle of Man, we now offer a choice of over 500 routes in 29 countries.”
