Samsung Combined Fridge Freezer the 'must have' fridge
Samsung announced the availability of its latest Bottom Mounted Fridge Freezer (RL55/52), at IFA 2010 in Berlin. With the refrigerator now much more than just a white box to store food in, Samsung's new range of premium fridge freezers combine sophisticated style and advanced technology to create the latest “must have” appliance for the home.
Refrigerators with remarkable style
The new premium range is available in a variety of finishes - classy stainless steel, modern black glass and various silver shades to complement any home. The sleek and sophisticated exterior will catch the eye with surprising new features, such as innovative blue handle lighting and an intuitive LCD touch screen (RL55VQBRS) that will elevate the interior décor of any kitchen.
Each model is equipped with unique Blue Handle Lighting, which not only makes finding the handle in a dimmed environment easier, but also fills the kitchen with a warm blue glow. The light can be turned on or off with just the touch of a button. On the inside of the RL55, the futuristic-looking LED Tower Lighting makes it easier to find items when looking into the fridge.
The new Bottom Mounted Fridge Freezer is the first refrigerator to receive an A+ energy rating in the Samsung Combined Fridge Freezer category thanks to its natural R600 refrigerant, insulation and innovative cooling technology.
A Host of Advanced Features
Featuring a number of new user-friendly features, such as a foldable shelf and Samsung's CoolSelect Zone for precise temperature control, the Bottom Mounted Fridge Freezer is one of the most technologically advanced refrigerators to enter the market in 2010.
For customers, passionate about gadgets, the RL55VQBRS incorporates an intuitive 7” Smart Touch Display on the door of the fridge. The Smart Touch Display enables aspects of the fridge and freezer to be controlled and includes additional features such as a calendar, message board to leave personal messages or reminders and an SD card slot to upload and display family photos.
Setting the Samsung Combined Fridge Freezer apart from the competition is the wide range of built-in advanced features. For example, the CoolSelect Zone in the RL55 models is a unique drawer where the temperature can be controlled independently from the rest of the fridge, making it the ideal place to store any type of food that requires a custom environment.

The Samsung RL55/52 series is available in the UK now from all major high street and online retailers, including Currys and Comet.
