Samsung’s RL38 rated the best fridge freezer in the UK

17th September 2010 Print

As of September 2010 the Samsung RL38 was rated the number one fridge freezer on test in the UK. It came out on top against 152 competitor models in tests conducted by consumer magazine Which?. Competitors, including Miele, Bosch and Hotpoint, were no match for the RL38 which claimed the top spot with its quick cooling and excellent freezing power.

The RL38 was the best on test for energy consumption when compared to competitors thanks to a full complement of features that provide maximum benefit to the consumer. The full no frost function means no time is wasted defrosting the freezer and also provides a cool and even air flow in the fridge to make sure the temperature stays stable throughout. The added antibacterial protection on the inside walls prevents build up of unwanted bacteria.

Samsung’s success did not stop there, with their RL41W fridge freezer also being awarded the Which? Best Buy Award.

“We are delighted that the RL38 has come out top in the Which? August tests,” said Gino Grossi, Product Manager for Samsung Home Appliances. “This model is one of the most popular from our bottom mount range and incorporates some of the features also available in our larger side-by-sides fridge freezers, so our customers don’t have to compromise on functionality.”
