Gibraltar’s Ocean Village - Best High Rise Development Europe
Gibraltar’s Ocean Village has won Best High Rise Development Europe and is now in the running for the World’s Best final in November. This gives the resort the chance to become the Best High Rise Development in the World – the ultimate accolade.
No stranger to winning Awards, this latest trophy was one of an impressive three collected by the mixed-use marina resort at September’s European Residential Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television. Ocean Village also gained a Highly Commended for Best Marina Development Gibraltar and a Five Star for Best High Rise Development Gibraltar.

This official recognition from a judging panel of distinguished experts comes at a very exciting time for Ocean Village.”

Held at London’s Park Lane Hotel, the ceremony on 24 September gathered together leading agents, developers, architects and designers from across Africa and Europe eager to hear the results of the industry’s most prestigious Awards established 16 years ago. This year’s Awards were held in association with Bloomberg Television with Maryam Nemazee, political, business and economic news anchor, and Dina Najia, Bloomberg Television’s Head of Marketing, both taking part in the ceremony.
Ocean Village now has to wait until the grand presentation dinner in London in November to find out whether the Best High Rise Development Europe win is worthy of the ultimate World’s Best Award.
