Samsung introduces new G Series refrigerator
Samsung has introduced a new product to its 60cm refrigeration range - the G Series combi fridge freezer. Developed with smart design in mind, this new fridge-freezer maximises the interior space, offering up to 400L capacity in a standard footprint.
The G Series has been designed with European customers in mind, with many (60% of those surveyed *) limited in terms of the space they have to place a fridge-freezer in their homes. Space innovation, better insulation, sleeker walls and upgraded interior ergonomics are among the features designed to create more space in this new range of cooling products.
Boasting A++ energy efficiency throughout the range, the G Series uses a Digital Inverter Compressor and Smart Eco System to optimise its functions. Ten Smart Sensors continuously assess the temperature and humidity levels in the refrigerator and manage the compressor in order to save energy and deliver the best cooling environment. As a result, owners can maintain the right temperature without having to worry about manually turning the compressor on and off. Additionally, a Holiday Mode is available to help keep the refrigerator running efficiently when people are away from home for any period of time.
“The kitchen is increasingly becoming the focal point of the home, and the refrigerator is a big part of that. Over the last two years, people have spent more time eating at home than out as they’ve had less money to spend, and have naturally needed more space in which to store perishables” said Gino Grossi, Product Manager for Refrigeration, Samsung Home Appliances. “With the G Series, we have combined refined design with the ultimate convenience features that not only give our customers the space they need to store their food, but also offers them energy savings.”
To deliver freshness, the multi flow air distribution ensures a stream of cool air flows through a series of vents located on every shelf, and the fresh room zone featured on the majority of models is the perfect place to safely store meat and fish. For supreme brightness and convenience the fridge is equipped with side LED lighting strips and there is also a stylish blue LED panel on the outside enabling you full control at your fingertips.
The G Series is available in different sizes (1.85m, 1.92m and 2m height) and in a wide range of colour finishes, from classic silver to stainless steel and gloss black, so there’s something to suit everyone. A minimal and sleek design, as well as non plumbed water dispenser options and different choices of handles complete the overall look and feel of the appliance.
