Samsung launches built-in refrigeration unit

7th April 2011 Print

Samsung has announced the launch of its first built-in refrigeration unit in the UK. The RL27TEFSW, which is available in store now, marks Samsung’s first foray into the integrated refrigeration market, with the new model set to complement the manufacturer’s existing built-in range of ovens and hobs.

Bringing style and substance that will characterise any kitchen, this new unit includes key features designed to meet the demands of today’s consumer. Boasting a healthy 265 litre capacity - a 70 / 30 split making 193 litres available for refrigeration and 72 litres for freezing - there’s plenty of space available to store the weekly shop, and more.

The inside has been intelligently designed, with transparent drawers and door racks, and a Power Cool Mode allows food to be cooled in a short period of time, ideal if you have lots of shopping.

The new built-in model also features self-closing hinges which will ensure that the doors are not left accidentally ajar, whilst LED temperature indicator lights give instant visibility of the temperature level and will also warn you if the refrigerator gets too hot.

“Following the success of our refrigeration appliances in the freestanding market, the next logical step was to make a move into the built-in market,” says Gino Grossi, Product Manager for Refrigeration at Samsung Home Appliances UK. “At Samsung, we are always looking to offer our customers the widest range of choice in both design and functionality so that they can tailor their appliances to the style of their home and individual requirements. Our new built-in model offers not only exceptional functionality, but also provides our customers with a sleek and seamless finish to the kitchen.”

Availability: The new Samsung built in refrigerator can be bought nationwide now from all major home appliance distributors.

Pricing: Estimated pricing from £599 - retailer and product dependent.
