Methven Tahi Twin-Lever tapware wins Design Award Gold Certificate

Methven is celebrating another prestigious award win after receiving a Gold Certificate for Product Innovation, for the second year running, at the Design Awards ceremony held on 11 October 2011 at Lord’s Cricket Ground. The certificate, awarded to the Methven Tahi Twin-Lever tapware, follows hot on the heels of a coveted red dot design award earlier in 2011 and accompanies the Gold Certificate awarded to Methven Satinjet® Tahi in 2010.

Judged by an expert panel of judges Tahi Twin-Lever tapware won the award for the unique combination of its elegant, simplistic architectural design and energy efficiency.

Controlling hot and cold water flow separately can reduce the unnecessary use of hot water and associated energy consumption. By amalgamating two levers into one platform, Tahi Twin-Lever tapware effectively combines economies that can be achieved with individual flow control (traditionally provided by two taps) with the convenience and contemporary styling of single-lever mechanisms.
